Depends what you are looking for. But I have had some luck with internet flooring companies.
at a discount flooring co..duh...look in the yellow pages or you local newspaper want ads..
A very popular flooring reseller is Lumber Liquidators. I believe they sell via internet as well as through local stores.
I recall one net based flooring store, Beaver flooring, caused nightmares with undelivered orders. They eventually folded but left many customers out in the cold. Please research any company (especially on the net) and find out how long they've been in business and if there are any complaints against them.
Also, look for discontinued or end-of-lot quantities..you can save big this way.
If you live somewhere with a Habitat for Humanity store, try there. Also, some places will sell *used* flooring, which is often denailed already and is especially good if you are needing to put it in an old house. One such place is the Reuse Center in Minneapolis, MN, though they are nowhere near as good in prices or knowledge as they were years ago.
