Remodelling a vinyl sofa?
Question:So, my child has poked holes in our vinyl sofa with a pen, several, several times. In the past few months it has kind of ripped and it kind of hurts to sit on. We've been just putting a cover over it. That looks very tacky and old though. Does anyone have any ideas to make it look good again? Thanks in advance

If the damage is just on the seats, you can recover them easily! Go to your local fabric store or upholstery/home decor fabric shop and find a great heavy weight contrasting, print, or matching fabric. If the arms are also damaged, you can use extra fabric to make covers that set on the top of the arms and drape down the sides and tuck in at the cushions. The two-tone and two-fabric-type furnishings are popular and with this method you can also change your decor often!
I have seen kits on TV that are supposed to fix holes and damage, but not sure if they work well or not. You may do some searching on that though.
