5 days untill my birthday and need help please?
Question:well my 18`th bday is on the 10th and im making it all pink i have no deacoration just balloons and a cake im having a big time party in a big banquet hall and dont really have anything i have 10 tables and im not very martha stuartish at all im not creative what are some fast cheap but not cheap looking ways to dress up the hall thanks for your help

Try fabric stores, look for cheap bolts of pink cloth, you can use that to cover the tables and wrap around the chairs. The dollar stores also have great cheap stuff. Look for either glass bowls or wines glasses fill them with pink colored water and float candles in them. you can do one bowl per table or gather like 5 wine glasses in a circle with pink tissue paper along the base of the glasses. If you wanna go even cheaper buy pink paper use a paper shredder and make confetti to sprinkle on the tables. Hang tons of balloons upside down from the ceiling at different lengths. That would be a good start.
Streamers can actually be a good decoration if not done tackilly. When I DJed back in Highschool, one thing I saw a lot that worked fairly well was hiding the ends of streamers under balloons. tea candles on the tables is a good way to add a little extra light since your blocking out some of the overhead lighting with streamers. If the ceilings are high enough, and the draft supports it, you can do a really neat vaulted ceiling look by using helium balloons in the center of the room to lift the streamers to the peak of a vault. You may want to use string to actually hold the line of the balloons and get a bit of an arch in the streamers. Some weddings use pink roses, which low and behold are out of season so they're a little cheaper, and they make it look classy, expecially with tea candles. Pink lemonade is a good drink, expecially for a summer event.
