If I'm buying a glass coffee table, what kind of tv stand should I buy that will match?
Question:i think it'd look too matchy-matchy if I had both a glass coffee table and media center/tv stand. The couch is a very light grey (almost white) with very small dark wood feet. Would a dark wood tv stand look odd? Or vice versa (glass tv stand, wood table)? Any opinions.

I think a dark wood matching the bottom of the couch would look fine.
i think whatever one you get is glass, the other one could be black marble. that always looks good
I have a similar setup at my home. Think about a tv stand that is either completely metallic color or metallic with glass elements just like the one you show in that link. It will not be too matchy-matchy. It will look awsome.
I bought a TV stand from www.kenteloftseries.com a few weeks ago and love it. It's a glass and metal stand and is very well built - much nicer than the Crate & Barrel one in your link. I think they have some coffee tables as well.

I agree with a couple of the others - go with the dark wood that will match the legs of the couch. I love the one yowza posted in that link. Something like that would look really classy.
