Making my room look modern?
Question:I have tried to make my room look verr modern, but I don't want to spend much money. ( Its not my first priority) I have some modern lights and a modern desk but my couch, bed, etc are not very modern at all.

From experience I recamend IKEA..... there all over the world .... and they have nice affordable furniture.... at reasonable prices sometimes i feel like there giving there stuff away lol and there big thing is making everything looked organized... so ya check out IKEA i luv that store....you'll luv it 2 ..
metal and glass are the basics to a modern look and feel. maybe trade in that wooden bed fram for a new steel frame one and instead of a wooden deks, get one with the steel legs

I agree to check IKEA they're very inexpensive. But in the mean time pick a color scheme and stick to it. To me modern is sleek streamlined, neat. You could go with the black/white/and one accent color, or alternatively try a cream and brown with a touch of aqua or pink. Slip cover your couch, and buy bedding. Everything should be crisp and tight, not rumply. Get some throw pillows for the couch that are funky modern, of recover pillows you already have! All these ideas can be done on a budget by shopping clearance aisles at Target/Walmart/Kmart etcetera and using your imagination as to what you could alter to make them fit your needs. Another great place for home accessories is Ross's Dress for Less. They have allll kinds of accessories/ linens/etcetera you could use for INCREDIBLY decent prices! Good luck! Have fun!
