I'm moving and I need all new blinds and curtains ASAP!?
Question:I'm moving tomorrow and I had a lot of work done in the house that I'm moving into. I threw away all the old blinds and curtains and now that I'm moving into the new house tomorrow, I realized that I dropped the ball and didn't follow up and get new blinds and curtains in time. Who can I call to get new blinds fitted and installed asap? I probably need new clips / holders for the blinds as well as I had wall tiles placed on the bathroom walls and the old blinds / curtains in the bathrooms were standard clips that went into the sheetrock. But now I have tiles on the bathroom walls...
I need advice!

There is a store called "Three day Blinds" in many cities. They are fast and cheap. But to blow your mind, check out http://www.glyders.com for some fantastic ideas.
measure for blinds and go to home depot or lowe's, they have ready made ones. also have something called temporary blinds. not costly and will give u time to chose what u want.

Both Home Depot and Lowe's have a dandy selection of the plantation blinds (plastic) that are not costly. Menard's has really inexpensive miniblinds. You may check out the sizes online before trotting off to the store. Just be sure to measure twice after you decide if the blinds will go inside or outside the framework.
I tend to agree with PJ, but after seeing the news article about the really poor work done by Home Depot contractors, I would not use them. I contracted my kitchen remodel with Lowe's (after a really bad experience dealing with Home Depot) and I was really happy with the products and the installation.
Measure the inside width and lenght of the window. Go to Home Depot or Lowes and get them there. All you need is a screwdriver - an electric one would be great. Hang the brackets on the inside of the window..very easy and much less expensive. Don't worry about curtains until you finish the blinds. You can do it..I am a woman and can hang them. Not sure about the bathroom. Call a local handyman to hang them if you don't want to.
