Answers:
Honestly. I LOVE IT! It's incredibly hip and stylish with a traditional and homey look to it. It's very beautiful and it will look great all together.

I hope I helped!

It's very beautiful! Why don't you trust your own taste? Good Job!
I personally hate them all . it looksl ike an old man picked it out
love them all except for the sofa and loveseat

go for a darker colour in those... that light blue is too light blue
Wow!! I love it, it's beautiful! :) And so dramatic with the dark wood!

You did a great job :)
I love the coffee table/end tables and lamps - they are my favorites. They are both very modern and sleek, and also really interesting.

I don't know if the sofa & loveseat are going in the same room as the coffee table & lamps, but I'd go with something more unique to match the tables and lamps - the sofas seem pretty generic. But you could always spice them up with some cool pillows or a throw. The light blue color is nice - I'm sure you picked it so it complements the other colors in the room they're going in.

The desk also is very standard - it's nice, but I'd pick something that goes more with the feeling of the coffee table and lamps. But same thing. You can always accessorize - with maybe a different chair, or just some cool desk organizers.

Furniture shopping is so much fun! Even when I'm not doing it myself. Good luck :)
I love the dark wood. I also have that in my place. I would though pick a richer color for the sofa/loveseat. Deep red or med brown and add comfy throw pillows.
As an architect/interior designer, I like the tables and desk better than the soft seating and the lamps.

The wood goods are clean and "transitional," which means they will go well with more traditional styles as well as modern things.

The sofa and loveseat are an ok style, also "transitional," but it will all depend on the upholstery you choose. I didn't like the grey -- was that what you picked? If anything, I would pick something more neutral and lighter (unless you have some compelling reason not to go light, like a small child). I found them a little too traditional for my taste, and I think you might tire of them sooner.

The lamps are more aggressively modern, and I didn't like the detailing, which I found gimmicky. I think it might be better to save your money and spend it at a more interesting store.

Yet, for starter furniture, if the price is right, you will not go too wrong with this.

I do think that the most pleasant places to live are eclectic in style, mixing looks and colors. You may have a dominant "theme" color, but don't get carried away, or you'll overdo it. The rule of thumb, unless you are VERY sure of yourself or have lots of money so you can change your mind easily, is to make the big expensive pieces more neutral so they go with everything and will last a long time. Then you can fill in with color and fun, with less expensive stuff that you won't mind changing now and then.

Hope this helps.

One final thing -- my rule, which I use for my clothing purchases, too: if I don't LOVE it, it never crosses my threshold.

Good luck!
I LOVE IT ALL... if you are putting all of this in one room it is going to look soooo good i can see it now... the dramatic change from the dark wood in the desk and the sofa is going to look great an i think the coffee table look gawjus... have fun with it... i no i would...
Honestly, it is seriously boring. Is that your style or do you need a starting point? Try a favorite object and build around it. That furniture is for grandma, and the bridge club girls. Go to www.iwishihadthat.com and this will spark some creativity. Then go to www.domestications.com and get ideas for room designs from the bedding section. chances are if you explore a little more you could do a much better job a getting more flexible and reflective furnishings. All the best.
I really liked everything, they go well together except the desk. The color is good but I guess you would call it contemporary where every thing else is more modern. But is still works. Great job!
It is not my style but it looks great together. I say if you love it, get it and don't worry about anyone else. It is your home!!!!
