Question:I want to make a play room with the style of tinker bell. I am wanting an enchanted forest look.

Answers:
so this is just a playrm or will it act as a bedrm as well? How creative do u want to b? Or should I say, can U b?

Let's start w/ the walls... i think u should u grass green w/ sky blue & a darker green as well. Now stay w/ me... start in kinda the middle.. about 1/4 or more up to about anthr 1/4 way up. U'll need glaze for this project & either some big brushes/plastic bags or shredded rags. Mix 3 part glaze w/ 1 part blue paint. Have an old towel handy & dip rag/brush into the paint... dab on towel so it doesn't drip.. then pounce away at the way in the area we talked about. don't worry if u go over top of what u did or it's too light... that's a sky.

NOW for the top part... Same thing but w/ 2 colors of green... grass green & dk green. Do the same thing w/ glaze & paint then i would use rag or bag for this... do this all over the top part to ceiling.. if u get some on the ceiling.. don't worry.. it's gonna b better yet.

Now take that same green... grass green only.. do the bttm part of the wall. SEAL the greens so they don't dry out 4 later. NOW... u'll need a med brown paint. ...like a qt. get a brush w/ angle & mix brown paint w/ glaze & water.. only 1 part water/1part glaze & paint

NOW draw some tree trunks... & make some branches... fill 1 wall w/ lots of trees... anthr w/ jst a few less... etc... stagger them.

Now go back to that paint that u put away & take u'r brush on the side & start the grass gr.. make grass blades then do SOME of the dk green for shading.

Then if u want.. u can paint flowers 7 get u'r child involved by letting their HAND print b the flower peddles. U can then get either stencils or stamps at u'r craft store of other bugs etc... NOW for tinker bell..

go online & either copy tinker bell or fairies... if they r the size u like then great.. if not get them blown up larger. Get either tracing paper in white or black & w/ a end of sgl paint brush trace over the fairy w/ the transfer paper behind it onto the wall. Viola! now color her in.

As for the floor... get fleece & cut like patches of grass... make pillows in bright colors to represent flowers... ... here's anthr little fun thing... they make glow in the dark clear paint/dust at craft stores... paint some in the trees so at nt.. it will glow for a short time from absorbing lt. during the day. Put light airy clothes hanging down.. over lamps for that fairy thing... then u can add the peter pan stick up. U can even get copies of that from online or the library & go to copy store & get them blown up on paper that won't smear. Then put them on the wall as well. U can even put u'r child's face IN the place of characters & mayb friends or family members for fun.

hope that helps a little. Just look at what represents Tinker Bell & the forest & be creative & have fun!

first color the room light green. leave one wall empty. draw jungle pictures on it or you can get wall papers with jungle prit on it. you can also check hardware shops for "peterpan" wall paper. now cover the floor with green shag carpets. then you can buy a small ballhouse, plastic see-saws, peterpan books and coloring books and pencils. throw in some tinkerbell coushions and you are set!
