What colour should i paint my walls?
Question:Most of the decor in my bedroom has a light Pink theme, I want to paint the walls but i can't decide between light blue or light green...which do you think would look best?

my walls are light pink because a lot in my room was already the color. i chose a blue and green and pink comforter to kinda accent it.
id go with green. they say blue walls make you hungry and sad!
oh and two of the walls in my rooms are striped in two different shades of pink. i really like it. it gives it a bit of a chic feel- but idk how old you are?
The colour scheme you have wouldn't really be my choice, but I would go for the blue, if only because both my mother and my mother in law have pink and green colour schemes in their houses, so I associate it with older ladies!

I think of the two colours you are considering, light green would be better. Green is supposed to be calming.
A combination of light blue and light pink are like baby colours you know? Blue for a boy, pink for a girl type of thing, if that makes sense (it does in my head anyway).
Have you thought of painting the walls a pale lilac/lavender colour? This can compliment pink very well.
The saying goes that pink and green should never be seen unless there is something in between. Light green goes well with light pink as long as you use another colour.. I'd suggest a white or beige to break it up a bit by using skirting or striped effect. Blue and Pink together would look like an indecisive baby's room.

Light green is more natural, and light blue is more fenimine and chic. It depends. You may want to try out a pattern (another user suggested stripes in different shades) or maybe large, overlapping polka dots. If you have more green decor, go with blue and vice versa. Have fun!
Pink is a lighter shade of red. Red is the complimentary color of green.
So between blue and green, I'd have to go with green.

I like the light green idea myself, but if you are older then I would go with the blue. The light green/pink reminds me of a room of someone under 18.
