House painting question?

Question:Does anyone have any great tricks to paint window and door trim on the exterior of the house without making a horrible mess? I have already painted the whole exterior except for the trim around the windows and doors and am hesitant because I don't want to repaint the siding if I am accidently sloppy.

Answers:
Use lots of masking tape. It is tedious but pays off. Blue usually peels easier, but costs more.

Get some painters tape at home depot or lowes. (its blue)
Three words-Focus,Focus and Focus
Use masking tape and newspaper to hide the bits you dont want to slosh paint over.
Did you tape your area off around the windows?
there is a tape you can buy that sticks on to the wall take a visit to h/w shop there are a lot of tips
I use a freezer scraper.
Place the scraper on the glass and butt up to the wood then move it down as you are painting
