you can superglue it if you are really worried or you can buy the ugliest one at the store. Buy one with a picture of george bush on there so you know they will stomp their feet hard on it to keep your house cleaner

I have heard of item like this being stolen, but I have a rather nice doormat and it was not cheap. Mine is still on my doorstep. At least it was when I went to bed last night.
