Idea for Painting a BEDROOM Set in DISNEY PRINCESS THEME?

Question:HI guys I had a question, we bought a really nice bedroom set/hutch /desk set for my girls bedroom, and I need ideas on how to paint it in a disney princess theme?

My kids room is painted in lilac/pink with all disney decorations, does anyone have any ideas on what color to paint the bedroom set?

the set is now in all white, it needs to be painted because it has a few scratches, what color do you think will match? any ideas would be appreciated this will be such a fun project for me! Thanks in advance

Answers:
You probably dont want to paint it lilac or pin because it be kind of overbearing with the rest of the room so Id repaint it a low gloss white and edge it in either lilac or pink or find a way to incorporate the lilac/pink into it like little daisies or small crowns

I thnk you should paint it white and pink with little flower or tiara stencils on it. that would be sooo cute!
I kind of like the idea of magic wands with stars. Then you could use shiny paint and glitter to make a spray of stars going across the furniture. You could replace the accents on the furniture with wood stars (star knobs on the desk, for example)- not pointy ones of course!
Try going to home depot. They had a little booklet in the paint section for what your looking for. They always have things like that. Try checking it out.
A wonderful concept for furniture threatened by 'life' (scratches from kids/pets etc) is crackel paint. This is done intentionally and will do wonders for 'hiding' future oop's. I think its 3 stape:
1) base coat (maybe a lilac/pink)
2) crackel glaze, see: //www.gleempaint.com/cracglazq...
and
3) exterior flat white or antique white

Go to your decorating store.
Buy lots of stickers of the characters you require and stick them all over the scratches.
Or, buy a roll of disney wallpaper and cut out all the characters, stick those on.
We did this for our son, and when he was bored with Thomas the Tank engine, we stuck Lighning McQueen stuff over the top of it. We also stuck stuff on the lampshade too.
