How do i decorate my room with panniling on the wall?
Question:i am a teen and i have paniling on my wall i want to paint my wall purple and blue striped but mu parents wont let me take the paniling down what can i do to decorate it plz help

Brilliant! Panneling is always complained about but it's fun to play with.
1) Invest in some colored paper and poster tack it to the wall. Purple paper and blue paper. Tack it right in the pannels in the stripe pattern.
2) Take pictures of your friends, pets, family, stuff you like, and place them in the pannels.
3) WRAPPING PAPER. Makes the best temporary wallpaper. It can be a little fragile and a little loud, but it's EXTREMELY fun.
4) Poster board. Plus you can draw on it and have people write you letters.
put lots of posters over the walls, or hang fabric panels.

Had the same issue in my household. You can prep, and paint over the paneling, it'll turn out great. Don't use a glossy paint. But I'm not sure about purple and blue stripes. Ask the paint store for tips. Good luck.
This works but check with your parents first.there is a product called "BIN" that can go over paneling - it is like a paint but you put it on with a brush and let it dry. You can then paint the paneling whatever color you want.....the other suggestion is to get fabric ( a queen size or king sheet) and staple it to the corner of the paneling wall - do you have a headboard on your bed? If not, it is simple to make with plywood, foam, and some material (you will need the stapler again) that would coordinate with what you put on the wall.
