Help with ideas for my kitchen ceiling?


Question:i have a thin coat of poly ripple on my kitchen ceiling, and am looking to redecorate but am unsure what to do with it, i dont like the poly ripple and it show marks where a wall has been removed..
any ideas would be appreciated

Depends on what your style is for redecorating. You could have a suspended ceiling or do a tin ceiling, they are really cool and cover a whole lot of imperfections and damages! Plus, they can be painted to match or contrast with your decor and come in a variety of textures.


You could always popcorn the ceiling. I don't really care for it, But it does an excellent job of covering up in perfections.
Theres products that you can apply to artex to smooth it over I know Polycell do one you could either do that or if ur not to handy get a plasterer in to skim it over - that would probably be the best option.
you can shave the ceiling down to the surface and then you can re paint it or get small tiles and tile it in some type of design..
