As long as you dont touch the walls, right a way, I would think...
how is doing a floor going to affect the walls?
i hope you are going to take off the skirting boards, lay the flooring and place the skirting back afterwards - you'll get a neater finish around the bottom that way.
so many people bodge things and they let themselves down an awful lot
Nearly straight away I would think. As long as the plaster was dry and you wouldn't mark it if you brushed against it.To be on the safe side though perhaps the next day.
straight away...your laminate floor, shouldn't touch the walls? it should have about a 10mm gap all way round ,apart from the bits that are visible as in round your hearth..this is why they are called floating floors.
you can do it right away...but are you going to paint the walls and such? Remember when laying a laminate floor need to keep a 1/4 space all the way around the outer edges of the floor being installed. Once completed then install base board and then 3/4 round molding.
When plastering is done the floors tend to get wet, as soon as they are dry you can lay your floor. If in doubt about the dryness of your floor put down a plastic membrane then lay your floor with or without insulation.
When they are dry lay the laminate flooring, there should be very little damp on the floors after plastering. DON'T remove the skirting boards as suggested by someone, they will NEVER go back the same way !!
7-14 days, buy a hydometer (if you are a getting someone in to fit the floor he will have one if they are any good)
the humidity should be below 60%
