Remodeling my Teenage Masterbed room, Ideas?
Question:Well, I was thinking of going simple. I have the masterbed room in the house because I only live with my dad && he let me have it. Im a 15 year old girl. Well, what I was thinking first its colors. I want something fresh in a way. I want my room to be white with pink & yellow borders. && I want a white bed[[ white sheets ]] with Pink & yellow pillows.
I mean like the pastel colors the really soft ones. I cant think of anything else. any ideas?

that sounds really soft. now rmbr.. white WILL get dirty faster as well as light colors so if u'r using a white cover... jst rmbr that.
y don't u paint 2 walls a lt pink then the other 2 walls a lt yellow or every other wall opposite color..pink/yel/pink/yel.. then use WHITE as u'r molding color... white furniture & u could paint the front of the drawers pink/yell w/ white knobs OR take something that u like & purchase say. flowers & glue them on the handles for diff knobs.
IF u have a desk... paint the top of it one of the colors or the drawers the same way & u'r chair either white or pink/yel...
NOW we need to add some texture. go to clearance bins at fabric stores & find something that would go w/ u'r style w/ those colors in it. U may NOT find them all in the prints but that's. ok.. OR go to thrift stores... dollar stores...garage sales... etc.etc.etc. find something for either curtains/valance/pillows/cushi... covers/lamps/shades/pin up board/old frames/ things like that. So that way u add texture as well as a desgin/print.

Buy some cork board to put up on wall to put any photos on so not to damage wall.Decide how much you need. Buy some pastel colored flowers (silk) and take off stems. Put tacks in center of flowers around cork as a border. Tack pastel ribbon to corners and weave in and out of flowers.
Buy green chalkboard paint to put on one wall so you can use chalk to create murals on. This way you can create a new mural whenever you want.
I would think of some animals and other fun things that are yellow. Little baby chicks, Butterflies and stuff like that would be cool.
