You could try goodwill although some of the stufff they try to sell isn't woth buying:-) You can also try rent to own stores... Sometimes they sell the stuff that they get back (repo or otherwise.) I got a suede sofa and love seat for 400 and there was NOTHING wrong with it. It was just used for a few months. They had a sofa alone for 25 but it wasn't what I was looking for... GOOD LUCK!! Oh and try flea markets and classifieds.
my cousin told me she got a nice couch with the tiniest (almost unnoticeable) tear in the back at a super discount. if my memory is correct she told me she went to a department store "outlet" ... i really don't know what "outlet" means. i guess it's affiliated with the main department store i.e. they provide services to the store. this was around roosevelt field (nassau county, new york). however, it was not a set. i assume at one time it was part of a set
