This is the best way I know & the quickest. Set your alarm clock to go off in 15, min´s time . See how much you can achieve in this short amount of time, trust me you will be surprised just how much you can get done. Ready? All dirty clothes next to the bedroom door, along with any other things that does not belong in your room. Never waste time taking thing´s back until you have finished. All clean clothes to the closet, top´s jean´s jumper´s belt´s bag´s , all put in the right place´s . don´t forget the shoes from under the bed. Stop. When the alarm goes off. you can either stop for the day ,or if you would rather carry on do the same again, set the clock for another 15, min´s. Just remember , always reward yourself when you finish your cleaning , even if you don´t finish all in the one day, sit down read your magazine, watch a bit of TV or even ask/ answer a few Q here , but you must reward yourself. I´m sure if you try this way , you will have your room all clean and tidy & your mum will be more than happy to get your clothes ready for you. I think it would a good idea if you both did the clothes together. Hope you have a nice trip
You didn't really explain why it was messy, is it from clothes, shoes, paper, If so just pick it up!
Open draws and wardrobes and chuck everything in them. Then straighten anything that is left out. taada!
for one, get off of YA.
Its time to clean up your room. There is no quick remedy for it. If you can take one hour of non stop cleaning, you can accomplish alot.
Good luck!
Wow.
First, get everything off the floor into the right place, or the trash can. Then, vacuum the floor/carpet, and staighten out your bed.
If you have stuff on tables and shelves, put them in the right places.
Either hid all mess under your bed or but everything in your waredobe, or lock ur door
My mom always said if your bed is made and your floor tidy, the rest of the room will look better. It works.
So fluff those pillows and pick up off the floor.
And enjoy your trip!
Put everything in it's place, get your washing and ironing done,
vaccumn the floor/carpet and polish all the funiture.
That should help!!
The first thing is to de-clutter and get rid of any stuff you've had for ages but have now outgrown or do not want anymore.
Maybe you'll even be able to sell a few things on eBay!
Then, my advice would be to make the place look tidy rather than actually be tidy (I am a man and do not have the tidy instinct).
If you put everything in cupboards and drawers and close everything up it will all look really neat once the doors are closed.
Your mum will be pleased and get you everything you need!
Toss out anything that's obviously trash, then put the other things in stacks -- group them by like items -- for instance, books with books, magazines with magazines, the post with other letters, etc.
Hang up your clothes. Dust the cobwebs and shelves. Vacuum the floor. Change your sheets and make the bed.
These are all easy things and your room will look sparkling! Your mum will be proud!
put all your clothes in the wash, put all dirty plates in the kitchen sink, put papers/books in boxes or failing that, in piles make your bed (makes a huge difference) and hoover, open your curtians (windows too if poss) and tidy away trinkets, put make up in a box!
basically, if she can see surfaces, a tidy bed and the floor is hooverd, she should go for it, depending on how big your room is should take about 90mins to do it really well
The only way to get rid of a mess is to tidy it up and the sooner you start the sooner its going to be tidy. So get going.
As my dear old mum used to say to me, 'if you didn't make the mess in the first place then you wouldn't need to tidy it!' I used to laugh at her, but now I am the mum and can see the logic! I used to stuff things in cupboards, drawers, wardrobe and under my bed, that normally worked well.
Get off FindHomeAnswers and start tidying up!! See if there's anything you don't want anymore - clothes, books etc - that you could donate to a charity shop. See how much junk you've got that can just be thrown away. That will free up storage space for other things, so they won't have to live on your floor.
switch off the tv, mobile phone and anything else in your room. so there are not distractions and work methodically and quickly in it.
Very much the same way as you do if you couldnt go out if you dont get it done.
Like my kids, they will winge and moan for an hour about doing it.
but when they want to go or do something, they will do it in 5 minutes flat.
Always quicker to do it and not winge, than waste time arguing about it,then its too late to go.
Or even tidy things up as you go along and use things, teaching yourself for the future when you got a home of your own to keep clean.
