When people answer my questions, do I thank them? I feel rude if I don't.?

You must have been brought up right. You can thank all responders in your question when you ask it or you can deliver a personal message to each responder by clicking on their avatars and sending an e-mail or IM if they allow it. Choosing the best answer to your question before it goes into voting is also highly appreciated.
you can thank them if you'd like, i usually thank people afterwards. though not everybody does. I don't think anybody would really be too upset if you forgot to thank them. It's always nice to get a thank you though I guess.
I've always wondered if I was one of the few who actually wanted to thank those who answered my question so helpfully. The first answer-er will probably get your thanks.
