What is best type of paint for bathroom?

Latex gloss or semi gloss. But remember, a good paint job is only as good as the prep work! Make sure the walls are clean and dry. A good shellac-based primer will seal any spooge on the walls. Good luck!

Enamel or high gloss, water based won't stand up to the humidity. Ask in the paint department, they will be able to advise the best product, which doesn't mean most expensive
A bathroom type oil paint (because of the humidity). ~
we tried both. the oil based paint peeled off after some years just like the latex. Now the teenagers are gone and nobody stays in the shower for a half hour. the paint is solid now.
