Run electrial through outside wall?
Question:I need to install an electrical box in a room. The power for the box will be coming from a generator outside for emergencies. The outside of the house is stucco and I would have to drill through it. Is there any special tube that’s available to run the wires?

If you want info on stringing wires from point A to point B then,
strong tape (duct tape) wire firmly onto any sturdy long 'stick'.
Knitting needle, stretched out clothes hanger, etc...
Thread metal object through your holes - - from inside, pull your 'needle' into house with your attached 'thread' (wires).
Not that answer above, you need to put the cable in a conduit of some sort. Preferably plastic. Any tube will do, so long as you have the drill to make the correct size hole. Dont let bare cable (I don't mean bare as in down to the copper of course) run through a wall. The wires need protection. The ends of the conduit should be sealed with decorators caulk (Inside) and mortar/silicon on the outside.
Also, drill the hole slightly angled down towards the outside, so if any water does get in the conduit, it runs out not in. The angle only needs to be 1 or 2 degrees (I can do that when I think I'm doing it square!) :-)
You could use conduit. Available at any home improvement store. If you are going to use a generator, it might be better, also safer to get a transfer switch, and have it installed by an electrician. A transfer switch isolates the generator from the electric companies power supply, allowing it to power things in your home during an outage. It will also protect you from the potential for shock, and fire.
