one picture is a cheap print with plastic surround!
but i bought it on the way home from the vet after having my dog put down almost 12years ago now,
it looked nice at the time ,but now it looks old and tatty but i cant bear to part with it for the reasons i bought it in the first place,so it adorns my wall looking tatty forever i suppose!Strange creatures us humans arent we,well i certainly am,sometimes,lol
I have a Italian tapestry and some Mediterranean pictures some prints some paintings on our walls. With some family pictures in the hall. I also have some baskets hanging and some mirrors, shelves, etc. I have some sconces including some that are candle holders. I have a art piece that is a decorative bowl that I really love it's very large and wooden. It brings some texture to the decor. As well as some decorative iron work.
I have some framed Van Gogh posters, Starry night and Cafe at Night. Then, my husband has some of his photography framed, one of them is a girl who I don't know, but its a cool pic so I don't mind. Then in our office, we have a pic of us next to the Las Vegas sign with the border signed by all the guests who went to our wedding. We like to make things personal.
I have a painting my friend made and some African masks
Southwestern. Native American artifacts.
i have my childrens pictures up on the wall and a painting of a gebera(my favourite flower)
Some of the show "Hannah Montana" with Me, Mitchell, Emily, and Jason...And I have this one photo with me and Emily acting all crazy!!

Think of what you like, then start collecting limited edition prints. Have them framed to suit your decore.
You then have an investment for the future as well as looking at something that you like, are interested in, and will enjoy.
This is the most important aspect I think. Keep family photos to your bedroom or home office.

A lot, lol. We have large framed prints by Gustav Klimpt, Georgia O'Keefe, Robert Hughes, Claude Monet, architectural drawings, original pen & ink by Larry Martin, lots of photography by Jenne Willis, a huge impressionist's painting by an unknown artist.gosh a whole bunch more. We love art and we need more walls! Most of them are by impressionist artists.
That's a fun question.
we went through a phase of buying steven gayford prints from bid-up!! so our walls are covered in lions, tigers, leopards etc! My favourite is the 'three amigoes' - 3 little tiger cubs - beautiful!
