I need some ideas for organizing my studio apartment.?

Question:i previously had a townhome and now i have downsized and i'm having a terrible time decorating it classy, but at the same time staying organized...any ideas?

Answers:
I am in a similar situation, I just moved to a tiny studio apartment. The best advice I can give you is visit The Container Store. I got some great under-bed and closet organizers that help save space. You could also try IKEA, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Target. If you don't have room for a dining table and chairs, try those small ottomans with removable lids-room for storage inside.

Ikea has furniture that is compact and comes in different shapes to fit into corners
The decorating programs always say if space is a problem to go up - meaning to make good use of your wall space for storage. Places like Home Depot sell modular pieces that easily fit togther. I've done a bedroom with it. Have an area for my computer, section of open shelves on one side and a drawer and cabint unit on the other. Both go to the ceiling. Lots of storage. Mine is in white, but also comes in wood tones - might give you a "classier" look.
Wall shelving units are great, you can organize your books, collectibles, etc attractively in them.
