How much flooring do I need?


Question:My entryway is 12x4 ft. The carton of flooring I am getting has 18.34 sq ft. How many cartons do I need?

Answers:
12x4= 48 sq ft. Buy 3 boxes to account for any mistakes in cutting or any cutting you may do around borders. Or if possible, buy 2 cartons and buy extra pieces individually as needed (you can usually do with all types of tiles, carpeting squares and sometimes hardwood planking).

2 AND A HALF, FOR EXTRA
3 boxes (55 sq ft). you'll have some left over.

it's 12 x 4 which is 48 square feet, plus a few extra feet for mistakes or repairs in the future won't hurt.
