Paint question?

Question:I've got a gallon of satin paint that I"d like to be a shade lighter before I put it on the wall. I don't want to buy more paint. I have loads of a cream colored FLAT paint that I want to just mix a little in with my caramel color to lighten.
Here's my question, then - Can I mix flat and satin finish paints together??

Answers:
Yes, you can mix the finishes. Your result will be something in-between satin and flat depending on how much of each you use. The bigger question is the color mixing. Make sure you have thoroughly blended the colors before applying them to your project. Try mixing a small cupful to see if the cream lightens your main color to a shade you like or if it just makes a mess!

depending on where you purchased the paint or the brand but you can go to home depot or lowes, check their color swatches and they will add what ever to get the color you want, you can add the flat paint but add just a little at a time.
brush on the wall blow dry it, if thats your color. you are ready top go
hello
