DuMb QuEsTiOn?

Question:ok, in all seriousness, does the room get smaller every time you paint it? i know it would be like an infinitesimal change but it has to, right?

Answers:
really , i thought about this dumb question , for a Little while.
it must get smaller, if you think about it , were putting in volume,on the walls , volume adds mass ,to the walls, and so then ma ken the room smaller, if only for 1/8 of one inch

Yes. However, it also gets larger as the paint is slowly eroded from touching, furniture rubbing it, etc.
Yes ?
Not as far as the paint goes. You would have to paint heaps on to get a difference in size. What does make a room appear smaller is colour. If you paint a room a dark colour, then light recedes, and the room looks smaller.Painting walls white or cream, or a pale pastel colour keeps the room looking spacious.
of course you are making the wall a tiny bit thicker each time you paint it so yes your room gets an eensy weeensy bit smaller
In all seriousness the added wall paint will make the room so minute in size that it is not even noticable. You are right though. It will even get smaller if you add wallpaper layer after layer if you want to get particular. Right??

If you use the mirrors and pictures to reflect lighting, the size will not matter.
