Where can i find a cheap dresser?
Question:I'm looking for a cheap dresser. one thats about waist high and wide. Where can i find one for cheap?? Please don't say thrift store cause the ones where i am stink!! Where is somewhere i can order online and they won't charge alot for shipping?

try marshalls or ross, they should have some nice things, im sure downtown...wherever you live has something good, i know san francisco does, but then again thats where i live.
try walmart or target
Target has some cute ones. Have you checked out there? Not sure what your range of cheap is? what color? etc.
garage sales yard sales and moving sales are great for cheap dressers we got my sons for free! after the sale they had it out with a free sign on it and so we asked to have it and took it home!
Check the internet for nearby furniture auctions. Most auctions are held one or twice a month. I found a full size wooden bed with rails once for $5. You can find dressers and chest sometimes between $20-$50.
If you don't mind if its used craigslist.com always has things like that for very cheap
why not try the unpainted furniture places near you? you can get brand new unpainted wood dressers for reasonable prices. pine (with knots) is the cheapest. the hardwoods (oak, cherry, etc) are the most expensive. they charge you extra for painting so if you are at all handy, you can paint it yourself, or use it unpainted if not.
also, garage sales are sometimes loaded with good stuff when the people are moving and dont want to pay to carry extra stuff. if you have the 'penny saver' circulars at your local grocers, you can find out about 'moving sales' in your area.
