New Room Design For Girl Teen?
Question:I am going to redo my room this summer. I like funky, bright, colorful, and cozy themes. I want to mix it up though, so not buy everything meant for one type of theme. Could you help? Thanks so much!

Well you mentioned you like cozy as well so you want something put together not too out there. I suggest you pick a few colors paint your walls one color that compliments because youll have to live with that for awhile and more of the color and funky comes from accenting your room. If your crafty you can even do small projects. Find funky things you like in magazines or off the internet and print them, then hang them in bright colored frames. Use a black bed and throw really bright pillows on it. Dont forget to organize and have it functional

Well, my walls are lime green, but seriously what I want is either a chocolate brown room or a rainbow room where the walls are vertically striped all the colours of the rainbow. That would make me happy.
that would be called .eclectic ..it means lots of styles that actually all fit together when you see it complete
i'd say paint each wall a diffrent color , and get a metal frame for your bed, use a nice natural wood dresser , add some mirror tiles on one wall to make the room seem bigger, if you have room a nice big overstuffed chair in the corner for flopping into and reading , you said you like funky so if you can paint the floor to look like its water , i'm sure you can find some cool designs by doing some google searches for funky/eclectic bedroom designs

Choose the colors you like. Pick one or two for wall colors. Then get a great complimentary color for the curtains. As for decor, just get what you like, lots of throw pillows in bright colors, and a lava lamp.
I have hot pink walls wich are cool. If you pair them with a lime green bed spread. Use mini surf boards as shlves. Then take something like blue cutains. You could also do a different color on each wall. Orange on one, Pink on the other, Blue on another, and green. Then use all of those coloras and their oposits around your room. ]
