Question:

Answers:
Go to HGTV.com hundreds of ideas there.

Home depot
or
Lowe's
catalogs, show rooms, internet decorating sites, malls, antique shops, magazines for the home.

i would go to the library to get the free books insted of buying them.
jcpenny.com or go the store. you might want to take some pictures of the house and take it with you so they can give u some good color ideas. lowes.com or go the store. lowes is usually very good with this type of thing. there's like a house shopping channel on satellite that gives u nice decorating ideas. look up a search on yahoo.com for pictures of house decorations and companies or websites that help with that.
The first thing you want to do is figure out what style you like.
Go to the store and pick up some magazines
Traditional Home
Home
Country Living
Elle Decor
are a few.
Look at the pictures to see what you like best. Take the pictures and do some online browsing at
Pottery Barn
West Elm
Pier One
etc.
If you can't afford those, at least you'll know what type of stuff you're looking for when you go shopping locally.
You should check out an IKEA they have awsome ideas for designs!
