Room ideas?

Question:I want either an old hollywood themed room w/ pics of marilyn monroe & audrey hepburn but i dont know wat color 2 paint it! i was thinking purple & black but then I think pink & black would look nice! Also, if you have any other ideas plz share! Thanks!

Answers:
MOST OF THE PHOTOS I HAVE SEEN OF MARILYN MONROE HAVE BEEN BLACK AND WHITE.

AND AUDREY HEPBURN ARE NORMALLY SOFT BROWNS AND TANS AND PEACHY CREAMS.

PUTTING THE TWO TOGETHER-
FIRST-FIND YOU SNAPP SHOTS AND ORGAIZE THEM AND FIND THE DOMINATE COLOR.

I WOULD USE THE DOMINATE COLOR AS A TRIM AND A SOFT COLOR FOR THE WALLS, WOULD MAKE IT LOOK MORE LIKE A MOVIE STAR RECK ROOM, IDEA.
SUPER IDEA!

yellow and purple! ( but dont be so star struck!! )
White and black [ it would look old fashioned and fit in with the hollywood type theme].
In addition to thinking about the pictures you want to put up, think about the types of frames you will be using. Can you visualize those framed pictures on the wall? Do you want the pictures to be the primary focus or do you want them to be part of the atmosphere? Thinking of it in those terms, I would go with a shade that helps bring out the desired emphasis.
of those two choices, I would say pink and black is nicer.
Audrey Hepburn just made me think of doing Tiffany's blue and white and all of your picture frames should be black.
