What colours to choose when painting an apartment? can i paint differnt colors in each room?
Question:
Answers:
Make sure the colors flow with each other, ie that they don't clash and create a jarring effect when you walk into a different room.
Remember, colors look more intense on the wall than on a little paint chip, which is why you'll often be told to buy the small samples and either paint a portion or a piece of oaktag and live with it in the room before painting the whole room.
You may decide to paint only one, or even two walls in a room and leave the others white if you want to accent something special or try to alter the feeling of the size and shape of the room.
There are lots of options, but, yes, you could do every room a different color.
I wouldn't go to crazy as you may want to sell again at some point. Apartments are usually small so go with cool colours. Nothing dark, but they should go together well.
you can paint whatever you like, usually in an apartment if you want your security deposit back you have to repaint before you leave. Don't be afraid of dark colors, or even just on one wall as an accent wall. You can get alot of bang for one bright wall.
LOOK IT IS YOUR APARTMENT, YOU USE ANY COLOR YOU WOULD LIKE.
IF THE ROOMS ARE SMALL, WOULD BE WISE TO USE A VERY SOFT PALE COLOR TO OPEN IT UP AND IT WOULD APPEAR LARGER.
PERHAPS IF YOU CHOOSE 2 COLORS YOU REALLY LIKE AND USE THEM SOFTLY AND TRIM OUT WINDOW SEALS AND TRIM A BIT DARKER. WOULD BREAK IT UP.
AT LEAST THEY WOULD NOT BE ALL THE SAME AND GIVE YOU SOME CHOICE OF COLOR.
If it's your apartment or you have the ok with your landlord, you can paint whatever your heart desires. To each his own.
The color you choose normaly portays your personality, the kind of person you are. It's an individual choice.
why not i would
why, keep it simple. Painting is difficult enough . Put your time and money elswhere. Color can be added with your furniture, flooring and accessories.
