Best color for my room?
Question:i like pirates, morbid stuff, but i don't want black. 'tis pink at the moment

amethyst would be nice, like a deep smokey lavender color, looks fab with all things goth.

go for deeper tones like rich, royal purples or deep navy blues or a hunter green would be good alternatives to black
u could do red it'll look good. i don't recommend like a very dark red.. u know keep it a shade of light red. good luck deciding. you could also go for a aqua blue or green turquoise shade

A chocolate brown with one wall a peanut butter color would be a good choice for you. Pick up some color chips in the paint department. The chocolate brown walls will more than likely take 2 coats.
you may also used pop art drawings of pirates in the wall of your room...it may be colorful, lively but yet it is still in pirates motive is there that what you want..you may also used other accessories like swords,maps,compass that common pirate used and put it to your wall,door just to make your room lively and looks like a pirate room..hope you like it..:-)
Go with light greys and wine colors or deep blues and light tans. It will be dark but not death like then.

i would think maybe like stripes..like either red and white..or red and gray..or gray and white..or navy blue and white..or navy blue and gray..i think stripes would definitly fit the pirate motife. good luck with everything
