I just bought outdoor carpet from Lowe's it comes in 6foot wide rolls and is 1.96 a foot, 25 ft was just under 50.00. They also have a 12foot wide roll, I believe it was .30 a square ft. I've had this kind of carpet before and it holds up well in the weather.
You can purchase sealents or cement paint to change up the color or camoflage your patio.
carpet stores have "astro turf" outdoor carpeting, looks like grass
When I had my cabin cruiser, I bought a new piece of outdoor carpet from home depot to cover the unsightly cracks in the rear deck. As I recall, it wasn't too expensive and held up to rain and sun throughout the boating season for years. Get sth that is specifically rated for outdoor use and you will be fine.
Hey VanillaGirl! Paint the patio floor first, then put down an area rug made for the outdoors. You'll get a great look for a liitle effort, and $$$ of your budget. Do it! Then post pictures! You'll love it!!
