How can i make my room feel as cosy as possible?
Question:Its quite a large space and i want it to be a place where i can feel comfortable in. The computer is going to be in my room because ill have alot of school work next year (and alot of questions to answer on here lol) so my parents have decided to put the computer in my room in the new house and get themselves a laptop or something. also ill have a tv. I dont know how to make it a relaxing/fun/work space- im a bit confused. Any ideas?

As another answerer said, divide the room into different areas, for working, dressing, relaxing and sleeping. In the sleeping area, keep colours calm and cosy, like a warm beige, in the dressing area, show your true personality, in the computer area, keep it clean and clutter free with plenty of light, have as few distractions as possible and in the relaxing area, calm, cosy colour, beanbag things, lots of cushions and your TV.
Warm colors, and soft carpet
Big duvet, lots of big cushions (preferably squidgy), dark wood desk, avoid wires use warm colours.
your favourite colours, posters of animals you like and of your fave bands and singers, drawings, and bits and pieces that show your personality. you'll always enjoy going into your room if it is filled with things you like.(and if you dont feel like doing homework you can always pretend to be working but actually you'd be looking at a picture of a hunky actor heehee =) ) gd like in decorating it!
great idea is to split the room into 4 sections and go from there, a work section, dress section sleeping, and relaxing, i did this for my son and painted the room in reds beiges and browns, he has lots of different lighting too,good lighting for studying and low lighting in his chill out space

You can choose whatever colors you want (there's no such thing as a cozy color).
Just be sure that all you furniture is EXTREMELY comfortable and your bedding is "poofy" and fun to jump into. A big, comfy couch, a cuddly comforter, a picture/pictures of someone you love- that should make your room really enjoyable to be in.

I like to surround myself with pictures of my kids and family all sorts like casual and formal. I also like hearts and cobalt blues mauve and purple. I like to put things together casually lots of books and a comfy chair cuz I like to read and listen to music as well. Its really up to you and what makes you happy when you close your door against the cold cruel world LOL
I like the new brown and blue's together,makes it cozy and I would have big pillows with some of the blue and browns.
A sitting bench by the window with pillows would be cool.
