Organizing my room?
Question:does anybody have any tips for keeping my room organized? it seems like the top of my dresser and book case are always cavered with junk, but theres no places else to keep it! and storage tips? also, i have a navy blue rug and a matching papasan chair. does anybody have any ideas for a new comforter? im sick of mine. if possible, can you include a picture of the comforter? id also like to actually decorate my room a little too. its pretty boring. any advice for things to put on the wall besides posters? if you need an idea of what type of style, im a 17 year old girl, and i dont want anything too girly. something that looks more sophisticated. nothing too drastic like painting though, i wont be in my room for much longer.

Well,first consider how much junk you need on you dresser.
if it's things you wear,put them away in drawer or hamper.
I keep a small basket to match on top of my desk and everything I want to keep or put away later gets thrown in there.That way no clutter on top.
I painted the effiel tower for my grandaughters room,and we are putting up the cute round poynisian lights over her bed..I think those are in the PB teen.com but you can get them at the mall for only 10-20 $. then we are gonna paint the a fourth of her wall brite pink-and the rest green and put green and pink curtains...we might paint a palm tree on the wall...she's younger than you...but you could put up 2 palm tree and island posters on a wall or each wall and beads on the windows. Painting is involved,but if you want a different look it's the cheap way to go...One room I redid,I stuck large and small different colored rings and hoola hoops one wall very interesting modern art concept,looks good all on one wall.And just paint one wall a different color if you don't want to paint all...you can google decorating rooms and get great ideas and pics.
Wood and navy and white? I got hat boxes at Ross for my daughter and they look great on her book shelf and house her belts and hair junk and scarves and some hats. Also those photo boxes are good. If you can't find the right pattern you can get cotten fabric (even go to Walmarts section) for about 1-5.00 yard and water down white glue and brush it on and wrap them and then seal them with the same-hers look so cool and she can whip them down. What about ocean travel posters-like to Europe or the Med or Greece with those colors. Fashion mags cut up and collaged onto a canvas can look hot and you'd have fun doing it. Bamboo and some glass could be a good accent.
