How much does it cost to install hardwood floors?
Question:i i just purchased hardwood floor from lumber liquidators an im looking for professional installers to install it. i have no idea how much i should be paying them. i dont want to get ripped off. what is the ball park of what they charge. 1200 sqft prefinished oak flooring real wood.

it could cost you anywhere from $1,500 to $2,400. depends a lot on the area you're in. sometimes its better to pay a bit more to have it installed by a well recommended person than the cheaper price...just need to get so me refrences.
I would go to a local hardware store and ask them for an average cost of materials and install for a floor your size. They can give an estimate and ask for a "breakdown" of this. Then you will have an idea of what to look for.( They are more helpful if you don't mention that you have the material already) As they say " you'll get back with them after discussing this with my spouse".
