http://asc-lighting.stores.yahoo.net/... - This site offers a TON of cool furniture and lighting that I purchased (I'm 15, too) and it's very low priced compared to many other stores. The designs and styles for the furniture are sure to meet your needs.
http://www.wakeupfrankie.com/store/index... - Here is a section of this site where you can buy window covers, although I would suggest a cheaper way by going to a store that sells fabric. Buy a few yards (you'll spend less than 20 dollars) and either sew the ends around a rod or use fabric glue and glue them around one.
http://buffalo.craigslist.org/ - Here you can search for your city and find something that's used in the community. It's a cheap alternative when you don't have much money and the quality is surprisingly good.
http://www.abcdistributing.com/home/cata... - Here are some very inexpensive shelves I purchased for my room. However, you'll be waiting for at least 3 weeks for them to arrive if you order online. I'd suggest going straight to the store.
http://www.abcdistributing.com/home/cata... - This is a small but inexpensive desk that is elegant but also unique.
http://www.abcdistributing.com/home/cata... - The Corner Desk is around 50 dollars, but it's one of the less expensive ones you'll find.
http://www.amazon.com/bed-frames-headboa... - Here is a selection of bed frames that are very cheap.
Good luck with this job. If you need any extra help, or you'd like to get some ideas for how to further redo your room effectively but not expensively, then feel free to e-mail me.

I know you might say yuck because your so young but you can find really cool stuff at yard sales and salvation army stores. rich people donate to salvation army all the time and you can get stuff you cant ordinary afford a lot of times the stuff is new. and yard sales go to the upper class neighborhoods at 6 am early on Friday before the antique dealers get there or at the same time. dont act like you have a lot of money and you get things for less, also dont act like you want the item real bad either. oh one more thing always ask them if they will take less money sometimes you will want to buy it even if they wont take less money. that is your best bet since you don't want walmart and I don't blame you there. good luck!
IKEA, they have awesome dorm style stuff, its affordable and sturdy. I'd also suggest searching the ads on craigslist.com
most of my home is outfitted with IKEA furniture and housewares including my bedding
Ikea is great, but for $300 you need to talk your mother into hunting for great antique furniture at tag sales and auctions.
I got a beautiful, never used mahogany 40's Queen Anne set for my niece for less than $300 with a chest on chest, bedside table, dresser with pedestal and 4 poster bed at a tag sale in a very high end old money area.
Auctions, yard sales and garage sales are great along with the new favorite, craigslist.com for people who need to sell or give away items for next to nothing.
