I have an old swag lamp and concrete ceiling and walls. Help!?

Question:I have an old 1960s green glass swag light with a chain, but I'm not allowed to drill holes in my concrete ceiling or concrete walls. Where can I get some kind of affordable stand strong enough to hold it? It weighs about 7 pounds and needs to hang straight down. Thanks!

well you said affordable so i dont know if my answer's helpful or not *but* have you considered getting creative with MDF? (medium density fiberboard) ... MDF is a favorite material of designer christopher lowell. you would have to hire someone with woodworking skills and that's another cost
