Would someone tell me the steps and products needed to crackle paint interior wall?

Question:I've put on the base coat (flat satin) then I read I need to apply a "crackle" glaze folllowed by the second (darker) color, then lastly a clear glaze. What is the difference between the second glaze and the last? I'm using Behr

Answers:
The second glaze is the crackle medium, it is not meant for a top coat. The last glaze is to protect the finish that you worked so hard to achieve.
