I am about to move and I never used a moving company before I was wondering how do they charge you?
Question:i want a washer and dryer moved as well as a queen side bed two twin size beds,three dressers , a dresser with a mirror three night stands,sofa, love seat 2 tv'2 (19in. and 27in) I think those are the sizes and last but not least 3 glass tables(there not big ,not sure of the size) I thoguht I asked this question so I can get a peice of mind tonight.oh yes the milege is about 29.7 the most .

I've moved several times, anywhere from 2 blocks up to 1000 miles. For a short move such as yours, you'll find it a lot cheaper to rent a Ryder or U-Haul truck and move yourself. You can usually get a truck for $50/day or less, plus you can also get an appliance cart through them for a minimal fee, and the cart can be used to move everything from appliances to any of your heavier items. Or if you have a friend with a horse trailer, they work excellent for moving. Pack your glass tables using your blankets/comforters for packing cushion, and you can use towels for cushion for glassware as well. Even if you get stuck buying food and beverages for those who help you, you'll still be spending less than using professional movers. Good luck at your new home!
