I thouht I would buy a couple of big potted ferns. I also have tons of crystal. What pictures should I buy? I already have some nice black and white prints of Prague I bought while I vacationed there. Do you think those would look nice also, I was thinking of buying a large botanical print to hang above the coach?
I wonder about this because I just bought white leather furniture, and my walls must stay white. What do you think if I bought a tan rug and bought some burnt orange and garnet throw pillows to put on the furniture-will they go well with the curtians? Thank you!

whoaooo... it sounds like MORE than British Colonial style unless i have the style mixed up.
Colonial style... wood/fabric/crystal/antiques/g...
b/c it seems u'r mixing 2 mch together which is kinda fine if u'r going for modern meets colonial
ok.. almost any color goes w/ chocolate. Sometimes it's the hue difference that will go w/ it.
u have a white couch & want brown curtains which r a bit more modern... Can u add more antique woods? Put some throws in there ..now i would stick to ONE solid color for accents & if u have material that represent the colonial era... then use that for pillow covers, cushions, table covers, u could even frame it for the wall.
When i looked at pix of Prague I saw very mch the old colonial buildings etc... every place can more or less of green. so if u want to add fake plants then that would b nice but frame u'r pix that u brought back. Do them in dk wood frames or get cheap ones & paint them brown. U could even add antique gold to it lightly.
So pick a color from the material... use that as u'r solid color & accent w/ that color as well as u'r brown then make sure u add texture w/ fabric that goes w/that era. Even go for a design rug.. that way it would tie all the colors of brown/white/u'r other color & prints together.
have fun!
