Im moving to a new house and i want cheep decorating ideas for my room?

Question:im a 13 year old girl who loves girly fun things!

Answers:
All I can say is go to the dollar store. If you dont find what you want, then make some cute little things.

Since you're a cowgirl you could always sprinkle straw around the floor.
Paint everything white, even your computer. It will be really easy to find dirt, and will like be walking into a lab every time you walk in your room.
I recommend plants, even though they are really not that funny.

Unfortunately, I am away often and I have found the upkeep difficult.

However, this is no joke, but Bed Bath and Beyond has some very high quality fakes if need be. THose quality fakes are not cheap.
1) Thrift stores
2) Have an arts and crafts slumber party with your friends (making a theme helps)
fresh pillows and the cheapest pillow cases you can find.
fresh towels, always nice when you move
a white mosquito net to hang over your bed.
a second hand lamp that catches your eye.
a battery powered light for emergencies
a small electric fan
a plant
well there are alot of things you can do you have to be creative and you have to bargain shop, i would start at a walmart and look at sales and clearance items, sometimes its fun to get one tub of paint in a flattering color for your room and buy a sponge and sponge paint your walls over the white paint. This is an inexpensive, fun activity for you to do and it gives your room some color as well as contrast. throw pillows for the bed also would give it a nice touch and you can find them on sale alot at the family dollar store wal mart target anywhere really a good place to get some fun stuff for your room at a great price is marshalls or tj max if you have them in your area also ross would be a good place to find some things. just go by your taste try some art or silly little inexpensive pictures on the wall valances you can always buy material and make your own valances they are very easy to sew trust me i cant sew at all and i made valances for my bedroom! just get creative and have fun with it good luck!!
u have been given some nice ideas here.

But what i want to know... what do u like in style? Do u like cowgrl stuff? Funk? Retro? 60-70's? Modern? Contemporary? Lace? etc

grly fun things can mean so mch to so many diff. grls. So think about what u'r likes r. Then pick 2 of those & keep them in u'r mind.
Now out of those LIKES>>>Do we have anythnig in u'r "old" rm that would go w/ it or will it all have to b new? So let's start w/ the curtains/valance? OR the bed cover? does all u'r furniture match in color.. like all wood... all white..etc?

Sooo go to the thrift stores/garage sales/ flea markets... & w/ u'r LIKES in mind... look for tableclothes/curtains/knick knacks/frames w/ or w/o glass in them...old pillows that don't smell. cushions that don't smell... rugs. whatever would go w/ u'r likes. IF u start to find that u'r finding stuff that goes bettr w/ 1 of u'r 2 LIKES better... then go towards using that in u'r room. So now we have ESTABLISHED A LIKE.

Take it from there! Find material.. if u can't sew, can u IRON? They make STITCH WITCHERY that will seem 2 pcs. of material together so u could make pillow covers for those pillows u bought at that thrift store from the placemat u got at the thrift store. OR that material u purchased in the clearance bin at the fabric stores & some Walmarts that goes w/ u'r LIKES that will make valances/curtains or work in making a rug or bed cover.

Do u c where I'm going w/ this? Look at things differently & be creative & have FUN!

Ohhh & when u get that material or cover or valance that u like... choose 1 or 2 colors from that for u'r walls & the 2 & 3rd color for accents. Like lamps that u picked up from that garage sale that u can paint. Or that pic frame that u will put material in along w/ batting so u can pin photos on while it hangs on u'r wall.

HAVE fun!
paint is cheap and can really reflect your personality
spend money on new sheets and comforter...clearance and coupons avail for Bed Bath and Beyond or Linens and THings... check out the dollar stores for storage and other things...frame some of your artwork from childhood...get a large cork bullentin board and cover with fabric or wrapping paper...hang hats or purses or necklaces...use your stuff for wardrobe and for art...and take your time doing the decorating...go ahead and paint and get new bedding then shop around to get inspired...got cute rugs with flip flops...not intended for inside but the wow factor...hang flip flops going up a wall to use for a bulletin board
You can do LOTS with your new room for very little money if you just 'think outside the box' ... instead of buying fancy bedding, you can just buy 'fabric' and can make your own spread and pillows ... and don't think that you need to get 'new' stuffing for the pillows, because if you have any 'old pillows' all you have to do it 'wash and dry it' and tear it up so it's 'fluffy' again and stuff that into the pillow covers. For 'decorations' you'll need to take a walk in the woods ... pick up neat branches (with no leaves, that have 'fallen' or are dead, please) ... you can put them into vases, old canning jars, or even just a 'box' that you fill with wet plaster of Paris. You can use these 'branches' to hold all different kinds of 'girly things' ... ribbons from gifts you get, cards, pictures, and even tiny 'stuffed animals' ...
For your 'carpeting' you don't need to 'worry' if you don't like the color, because you can get carpet 'samples' for very little and can make a 'mosaic' rug out of them.
Instead of regular pictures you buy at a store, you can 'frame' wallpaper samples, posters, and even pictures of things you like that you take yourself ... even if you just get a 'disposable digital camera' you can take GREAT pictures with just a little 'work' on your computer. USE YOUR HEAD and you'll see that you can have an OUTSTANDING ROOM with very little 'money spent' ... and you can be 'proud' of what you do if you just 'think outside the box' ...
go 2 dollar store
