How do you caulk a bathtub?

Question:

Answers:
First, remove all pre-existing caulk. use a glass /paint scrapper and finish by using a good non-toxic solvent cleaner. bleach or ammonia. let dry. Pick up the caulk of your choice but be sure it contains silicone or it will come right up. Cut a small angled hole in tube and lay a continuous bead down sides , don't get in a hurry. One trick is to use masking tape on either side of where you are caulking then after it dries cut along the edges of tape carefully and remove tape. don't lay down caulk like there is no tomorrow, it is unnecessary and the results will not be what you will like. good luck partner!

Go to a home improvement store (in case you have questions) get the correct silicone caulk and dispenser. Then cut the very tip of the top of the caulk container at an angle then squeeze it and make a continuous bead. Then wipe it with your finger to make it even and looking pretty!
Pull or scrape out old caulk. I suggest white bathroom caulk, as the clear turns yellow and rusty soon after. Squeeze caulk into crevasses and wipe with your fingertip to fill and smooth. Wash hans and allow ample time to dry before showering, voila! Quick and easy! :)
