Fixing my house windows need some help...?

Question:want to replace my house windows, do i need to get a permit for something like this? I live in Florida, manatee county. I have jealousy windows in my home but need to replace them, due to losing too much ac air. can anyone help me?!

I don't think you would as long as your not changing anything besides the windows. I tried looking on the net and come up with nothing on window replace manatee, Florida on anything not even government site. I'd just do it. Unless there is a city office you can call to find out.
