Well, that depends on how old you are. It sounds swell if you're 12. Of course I assume your parents don't care.
But what really matters is what YOU want. If you like the color, go for it. The best thing about painting a room is you can always change it.
Not exactly a place I would wanna relax in. Avoid bright colors in the bedroom they will litteraly keep you from relaxing and that is ultimately what your bedroom is for. Either sleeping or relaxing.
Red can cause people to feel anxious or uptight.

How you decorate your room is a personal choice and therefore can never be stupid. Does the 'blood red' color match what you already have in your room? Is it the color you want to paint it? If so, I say go for it. Your room should be a place you feel at home and comfortable - your 'safe haven,' if you will. Good luck in your room decorating!

I painted my youngest son's room a rich dark red (he picked the color) & let me tell ya---he was in a crappy mood for 2 years until I repainted it a bright lime green
Red is an energizing colour. So if u want to be bouncing around all the time go for it.
dark colors in a bedroom is a no no according to HGTV interior decorators. They always want a light or bright color lile yellow in a bedroom to energize you. Reds are primarily used in kitchens or a place where people congregate for talking.
why would you think it was stupid. if you thought it was stupid, why would you do that. have a little confidence.
Blood red is overall a darker shade, is that what you are painting it? If so, I think it will be nice if done right and with the right accents and furniture. If you are doing it to make a statement against your parents, remember it's their house and just be curtious of their feelings. If you are doing it because you are into design and fashion and what to be creative ~ cool. If it were me, I would keep in mind that I would have to live in a room like that and it would be a pain in the rear-end to re-paint it if I didn't care for it or got sick of it. Maybe try one wall at a time.It might give you a better idea if you want to paint the whole room. Good Luck!
It's just paint. If you like it, paint it that colour.
If you decide you don't like it and the choice was a mistake, then change it. That's life.
But, keep in mind paint costs money so if you can afford to paint it more than once, then fine. Remember if you paint it that dark, and you want to change it, you will have to put some sort of primer over top to lighten it up and make it neutral before you can apply a different colour. All cost money.
My nephew painted part of his room black when he was 14, and it looked cool...
