Storage solutions for a small apartment?
Question:I have a small 2 bedroom apartment that has hardly any storage space! My husband and I have one bedroom and the other is being made into a nursery. What are some storage solutions for things like boxes of holiday decorations, extra books, and extra linens and things? Thanks for your suggestions.

personally i tend not to use large hard storage bins (you know, the plastic kind, although for holiday wrapping paper it's traditional to use those however as you can see from the pic you can also put holiday wrapping paper in soft plastic storage)
Buy the Rubbermaid plastic tubs w/lids. They seal tightly & are great for storage.
Use the space underneath beds, above kitchen cabinets, above the toilet, etc. You might have to build some shelves to fit. If you have high ceilings think about how you can use vertical space. In the kitchen, you can hang pots and pans.
You might also pare down on your stuff by selling what you don't need on eBay.
I don't know if you heard of bed raisers they consist of a base with a cradle to acomodate the leg of of the bed like that your bed will be high enough and you can store things under it I have seen some plastic containers and some even have little wheels on them so that you can pull out from under the bed that one choice I've also heard of bed dresser well is a bed frame high enough off the ground so that it can include drawers. it really nice and it has a lot of storage so that you can put your thing nice and neatly try this website out they explain the bed also look for bed raiser on google also you may find them cheap at ebay the bed is a great idea too but depending on how much storage you want and the how luxurious you want it the price might not be so low but its worth every penny my friend has one she lives in a studio apartment and she has storage galore on that bed i think she spend like 750.
