What does reverse hang mean on wallpaper symbols?
Question:the symbol shows a arrow going up and next to it a arrow going down with a oat the side of them.
do i measure from the bottom of the wall up to the top with first lenght and the second from the top to bottom with out any wastage please advise !

Hi this is what I found out for you I hope it works If the wallcovering pattern is a random match, ALWAYS reverse hang the wallcovering strips (every other sheet pointing in a
different direction – up or down). This technique will reduce any right to left shading effect that is common in random match commercial wallcoverings. It is always a good idea to
reverse hang the first three strips of wallcovering and check for potential shading before completing the room. so to me what they mean is glueing the wall paper in the oposite direction one sheet of paper symbols going down the other sheet symbols goin up but but do like one or two up one or two down (every other sheet like it says on the tip that I got for you)hope your room comes out looking beautiful!
The reverse arrows mean you hang every other strip of paper upsidedown.
The 0 sign means that you dont have to worry about matching up a pattern. This is good because you will have almost no wastage and you may not need to use as many rolls of wallpaper as you think. (If you have any rolls left over at the end of the job, you can normally take them back to the shop for a refund.) Hope this helps.
Thanks Kitty. I always thought it meant hang the paper back to front. I was frequently disappointed with the result. Needs clearer use of English language for thickies like me.
