RustOleum Magnetic Primer?

Question:I am painting a section of my bedroom wall with this. It will be lavendar over top. I have a few questions:
Will lavendar paint cover the dark primer? Or should I prime with white over the magnetic?
Can I put my computer desk on the wall that is magnetic?
Will the lightswitch electricity effect the magentism?

I'm not a computer expert, but I probably wouldn't put my computer next to the magnetic wall. As far as the light switch, that should be okay. Your lavender paint should cover it, probably with two coats or you could use a tinted primer but just a light coat. The more paint you put over the magnetic primer, the less magnetic it will become. Kind of like using a kitchen magnet through cardboard on the fridge, doesn't hold well! I was going to put the magnetic paint on the back of my son's bedroom door so he can keep track of all his stuff, but never got around to doing it.
