What is the best water proofer to use on a deck?

I use Thompson's..as a matter of fact I'm refinishing my deck now. I have used Home Depots brand Behr in the past and its worked well too.
Thompsons Water Seal is great, it's long lasting and not too expensive. My father uses it as well as most of the other home owners that I know. Its pretty easy to apply, and a little goes a long way.
