Do you have a white ceiling or a coloured ceiling?
Question:Do you like it? I'm looking at maybe painting my stippled white ceiling to a coloured one. My walls are a cream colour and so I would go with a shade or two lighter. Not a drastic change but it may look warmer.

Ours are white. Whole place is white when we moved in and haven't had a chanceto paint yet. Two shades lighter than the wall color is the rule according to my sister who used to paint for a living.

It's not white... we used an almond color.
We love it, because I don't think white would have gone well with the burnt orange & olive green walls.
Take a chance, if you don't like it , you can always change it back.
White. All of my ceilings are white. All ceilings must be white, unless you are a Restaurant. :-)

I have an off-white ceiling in the main part of my house and a pale pink ceiling to coordinate with deeper pink walls in one of my guest rooms. Both look great! In the pink room, I used the lightest shade on the paint strip and for the walls chose the 3rd lightest shade. The ceiling color harmonizes well without looking too colorful.
I'm planning on doing it again in the master bedroom. :)
